AI Demand Letter Settlement Intelligence

New Update to Starter and Advanced Plans

Improvements to our AI Demand Letter platform will result in higher settlement offers

Leading AI Demand Letter platform, Settlement Intelligence, has launched a new version of its popular Starter and Advanced license plans for solo and small personal injury law firms.  As with the many updates we have made to the Settlement Intelligence platform since the beginning of the company in 2020, the updates are free to licensees and are all made in the cloud to our platform. No software updates are required of customers to utilize the updated cloud based service.

New Updates:

Through new documents on claim software, and feedback from our customers on case outcomes, we have built additional features to capture additional claim information. This will drive increased settlement offers from insurers for those law firms using our Starter and Advanced AI Demand Letter plans.  These features already exist in our higher tier Professional and Enterprise licenses.

UM/UIM Demand Letters:

We have implemented different 3rd party, and UM/UIM demand letters into Starter and Advanced plans - a feature previously only available on our higher tier Professional and Enterprise licenses.  Now you select the insurer and the type of claim and our AI will direct the questions that will help you collect the information necessary to create the best demand letter for that claim. The language used is different in the UM/UIM demand letters than in third party demand letters.

Fewer prompts allow for quicker, more efficient AI Demand Letter(SM) generation:

Based on recent feedback from our users, we've combined prompts allowing certain data to be collected simultaneously. While we still offer our full version for those who request it, we've combined value driver prompts to allow for ease of use. To revert your firm's version to the previous value-driver based forms (some lawyers prefer when training new staff on best practices when collecting data and writing demand letters) please email customer support as we are happy to make that accommodation.

New Practice Tips:

Additional practice tips are included, regarding the top five value drivers important to claims evaluation software, and ways your firm can better maximize settlement value during the demand letter preparation phase.  This helps you leverage over 35+ years of our industry leading expertise in insurance claim software and demand letters to help your office maximize claim value.

Duties Under Duress:

We have expanded the selection of subfactors to improve the amount of data you can collect (and the amount of money you can get) for your client's activities conducted with pain.  Each Duties Under Duress factor and subfactor selected provides additional claim value. With Duties Under Duress claims being the fourth highest category of value drivers in insurance claim software such as Colossus, Liability Navigator and ClaimIQ, the expansion of the detail in this section can lead to substantially higher value in a broad variety of claims.

Starter and Advanced subscriptions get free access to our client forms including our proprietary Duties Under Duress form.  The form and the content of Settlement Intelligence platform is the original work product of Settlement Intelligence co-founder Aaron DeShaw, through his research on original programming notes and nonprotected claim manuals.  Given our intellectual property rights to this list and the forms, no other demand letter company can use our factors and subfactors for demand letters. This provides a distinct advantage to using the Settlement Intelligence platform.

Loss of Enjoyment of Life:

We have expanded the selection of subfactors in Loss of Enjoyment of Life claims, to improve the amount of data you can collect (and the amount of money you can get) for your client's change in quality of life.   Since each Loss of Enjoyment of Life factor and subfactor chosen, it provides additional claim value. The expansion of the detail in this section can lead to substantially higher value in a broad variety of claims. With Loss of Enjoyment of Life claims being the fifth highest category of value drivers in insurance claim software such as Colossus, Liability Navigator and ClaimIQ, the expansion of the detail in this section can lead to substantially higher value in a broad variety of claims.

Starter and Advanced subscriptions get free access to our client forms including our proprietary Loss of Enjoyment of Life form.  The form and the content of Settlement Intelligence is the original work product of Settlement Intelligence co-founder Aaron DeShaw, through his research on original programming notes and nonprotected claim manuals.  Given our intellectual property rights to this list and the forms, no other demand letter company can use our factors and subfactors for these claims. This provides a distinct advantage to using the Settlement Intelligence platform, over "AI Demand Letters" created by a group of venture capital investors that are not based upon insurer's claim software.

Disfigurement Claims:

Disfigurement claims are now included in the AI Demand LetterSM. Disfigurement can be a significant value driver when they are present. Practice tips on disfigurement claims are now available for all subscribers to Settlement Intelligence.
